Lafayette Gardens
and Morris Canal/Lafayette Park Redevelopment Plan. Located on the grounds
of
Lafayette Gardens
, this state-of-the-art senior facility with on-site supportive services will enable
low-income senior citizens to live independently and age in place.
Building design and amenities
include a 4-story, 80,000 sq. ft. masonry elevator building, 78 one-bedroom and
4 two-bedroom handicapped adaptable apartments. 25% of the apartments are
reserved for the frail elderly. There is over 11,000 sq. ft. of community
and assisted living services space within this building with secured, outdoor recreation
and gardening areas and on-site parking for 20 cars.
Laffayette Seniors Consists of 83 Public Housing units.
