This fourth development phase of the
Lafayette Gardens HOPE VI Revitalization is a 67-unit mixed income rental development.
Including spacious 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom and handicapped accessible apartments are
complemented by a multi-purpose community space including meeting room, laundromat,
exercise room, computer learning center, and exterior tot lot. The apartments
feature Energy Star appliances, windows and equipment and sustainable building materials.
Barbara Place Terrace was completed in Spring 2009 and the waiting list for affordable
apartments is currently closed. Barbara Place Terrace consists of 40 Public Housing
units.
